You do not necessarily need to contact us before sending your amplifier so long as you include your full contact information and a detailed description of the required repair or service (our Amp repair form should make life easier). However if you are at all unsure, we are happy for you to call or email and advise us of the problems you are having. In this instance we can ask you any necessary questions to obtain as much information as possible saving time once it arrives. We can also advise the expected turn-a-round time, but please remember you still need to include the repair for as we do not want to confuse your amplifier with someone else’s.
Please be advised that we cannot accept any amplifier brands not listed without prior arrangement. Sending us an amplifier that we cannot service will result in a return courier fee. A list of covered brands can be found on our homepage.
You will need to arrange for your amplifier to be delivered to our secure workshop;
4 Craftsman Square,
Temple Farm Industrial Estate,
Southend on Sea,
Essex SS2 5RH
If you do not have a preferred courier service to do this we would recommend using Interparcel whose UPS economy service is inexpensive, safe and saves you standing in queues at the Post Office.
Alternatively, if you do not have access to a printer, you can use the Interpacel website to book City Link who bring all of the necessary documents when they collect your parcel.
Packing your amplifier correctly will greatly reduce the possibility of damage and ensure it arrives to The Amp Doctor in the same condition it left you.
Remember to include your full contact information and details of the fault even if you have spoken to us directy so when your amplifier arrives we know exactly what it is booked in for and can proceed with the required work without delay.
