Just like servicing your car keeps it working reliably and at peak performance, servicing your amplifiers achieves the same results.
Many components in an amplifier have a lifespan and once this is exceeded, the amplifier’s performance can degrade. Expected lifespan is dependent upon many factors, so there’s no easy answer to “how long will component ‘x’ last?”. As a guideline though, if you have had your amplifiers installed for 3 years or more, then they’d be likely to benefit from a service.
The most convenient time to service your amplifiers is often when moving your installation from one vehicle to another.
If you have a multiple amplifier installation where one amp becomes defective, we would recommend that your other amplifiers are serviced at the same time, to ensure future system reliability and to minimise overall down-time.
So what’s involved?
We disassemble your amplifier and give it a thorough and detailed visual inspection. We then replace any components that show any signs of stress, or may be nearing the end of their service life with new, higher grade/longer life specification parts.
Depending on your amplifier model, additional reliability modifications may be carried out to resolve any known issues.
Your amp will be cleaned, carefully reassembled, tested on our AudioPrecision™ test system and the results documented on a certificate of performance that we will send back to you.
Finally, your amplifier will also be “bench tested” and continuously monitored for at least 12 hours in order to ensure total reliability when it is reinstalled.
For your complete peace of mind, this service is backed up with a 1 year RTB warranty*.

Test Certificates
Most of our services involve testing the amplifier to ensure that it functions according to spec/expectations. When this is the case, we will provide a printed test report (also known as a “Birth Sheet”), which provides peace of mind and can also be an added bonus if you later decide to part with the amplifier.
