We’ve now had 3 decades experience repairing and servicing Genesis amplifiers, so we can offer a fixed price menu structure which covers getting the amplifier working like new and looking as
‘nearly new’ as we can get it.
Our Silver service includes repairing any faults, replacing any components nearing the end of their life, carrying out any factory updates, a full test to original specification including a test
certificate, polishing the casing and finally packing the amp in a new plain box.
Gold adds audio enhancements, including preamp chip upgrades to the latest SoundPlus parts, upgraded Rail capacitors and bias optimisation using our AudioPrecision analyser. These
upgrades combine to elevate the SQ considerably over regular production amplifiers.
New for 2022 is our Platinum option. This upgrades the Series 3 amplifier drive board, the heart of the amplifier that determines the overall sound quality and character. The AmpDoctor V2
driver elevates the SQ to a new level. Every component has been optimised to elevate the performance to new levels.
The platinum upgrades also offer the option of preamp bypass to eliminate signal degradation and channel imbalance. With the preamp bypassed channel balance will be better than 0.1dB and
rock solid thanks to the precision (0.1% / 25PPM) resistors in the gain setting part of the drive module.
Your DSP can then be used to set the levels, with exact precision as there will be no gain variations or signal degradation caused by potentiometers in the signal path. Signal to noise is also
improved with the bypass, and now exceeds 120dBA. Even with the most sensitive speakers, the noise floor is below the threshold of human hearing.
The sound quality improvements of the Platinum upgrade move the Series 3 amplifiers into a higher sound quality class, making them competitive with much more expensive amplifiers.

These prices are relevant for any fault or problem providing:
- The circuit board hasn’t burned out. In these rare instances a new board will be quoted for separately.
- The amp isn’t mechanically damaged beyond repair, for example by a car crash or your ex wife smashing it with a hammer.
In these rare cases we will advise you of your options before commencing work on the amplifier.
